Willow's First Birthday | Wilmington Cake Smash Photographer

Sweet Willow came to my studio last month to celebrate her first birthday in the best way- with a cake smash!

Can you believe how absolutely adorable she was?!





Her mom and dad chose my classic cake smash package, which includes some simple portraits, then the cake smash set with a white backdrop, a balloon garland (they chose pinks), a white smash cake and a number 1!


The first thing Willow did when we put the cake in front of her was grab it with both hands, which gave her parents and me quite a laugh!

A trick I've learned while doing cake smash photography- give the baby a spoon! Some babies are happy playing with the spoon; others enjoy eating the cake off of it, just like Willow did.



Once she had her fill of her delicious cake, she smiled and crawled right over to mom and dad. It was the perfect cake smash photoshoot!
