What's better than one beautiful newborn coming into the studio? When that baby girl has a twin sister.

These cuties came to see me for their newborn session and were nothing short of amazing. The session started like any other, with family portraits:

I took several photographs of each of the girls with their parents and even their grandparents, but the two black and white photos below turned out to be my personal favorites.

The bright white lighting and genuine smiles from mom & dad made these my favorite family photos.
After the family portrait portion of the session, I moved on to newborn photographs of the twins together and by themselves. Their parents requested neutrals, pinks and purples for their session.

To create a cohesive gallery and let the twin's individual feature shine through, I posed them in similar ways for each set.
For the set below I put each of the girls in two outfits made from the same lace. Can you imagine how gorgeous these photos would look printed out in their home?
To add more pink and purple sets, I changed the twins into pink and purple newborn outfits and photographed them in this gorgeous bowl with hearts around them.

The last set we did included tons of texture and turned out to be one of my favorites.
