Want to know a secret?

I didn't like being pregnant. Minus a few weeks in the middle, I couldn't wait for my pregnancy to be over... but I still took maternity photos. Here's 3 reasons you should book a maternity photographer too:

#1 The Baby Bump Won't Last

It's a cliche and annoying to hear (or read) when you're expecting, but it's true: this time will fly by. In the grand scheme of things 9 months is such a short period of time. The moment your baby is born marks the end of a huge transition period, one that you'll never get back. Having photographs to look back on is such a beautiful reminder of all you went through to bring that precious life into existence.

#2 Boost Your Confidence

I know, during your pregnancy your body has become almost unrecognizable. Even while you feel proud of everything a woman's body can do, there is probably a part of you missing your old figure. Scheduling a photoshoot gives you a reason to do your hair and makeup, put on a gorgeous outfit, and truly look and feel your best with your baby bump.

#3 Bond With your Family

Finally, a maternity session is an incredible way to bond with your spouse and other children. It's a scheduled time for everyone to think about the little life that will soon be joining the family. Spouses feel more involved in the pregnancy, and older siblings will be proud to show their baby brother or sister that they were there from the beginning.
