Now celebrating her 1/2 birthday, beautiful baby Sabriyah!

Can you even handle this cuteness?!

Sabriyah's parents brought her into the studio for a 6 month/ half birthday photoshoot, and the results were adorable. We started with the most important set, which included a 1/2 birthday banner and cake!

Then we moved onto a floral backdrop. I hadn't used this one in a long time, though I'm not sure why! It's such a pretty option for baby girls.

Keeping with the floral theme, we moved into a prop set-up:

Sabriyah's mother then shared with me that they weren't able to have newborn photos taken.

While milestone photoshoots can't replace those curled up newborn images, they can help ease some of the regret that may come from missing out on a newborn photoshoot. Not only do you get professional images of your child, but I can incorporate some of the same backdrops and props that would've been used in your newborn session into your milestone session to give you that "newborn" vibe.

Often used in my newborn sessions, this stary backdrop is perfect for adding a dreamy newborn feeling to a 3-month, 6-month, or 9-month milestone photo session.

We finished up the session with one of my favorite sets- personality portraits!

Taken on a white backdrop, these are such a fun way to see all of the little expressions your baby makes. They're super cute in the color version, but personally I think they're even better in black and white!
