You may not have heard the phrase before, but it's very likely you've already encountered lifestyle newborn photographs while scrolling through Facebook or Instagram. Those cute images of parents doting on their new baby while standing in the kitchen or rocking their baby to sleep in their adorable nursery: those are lifestyle images.

It can be helpful to think of lifestyle newborn sessions as a family session with your newborn. Your family will be involved for the majority of the session, holding your newborn or interacting with them in some way. The goal of the session is to capture the connection between your family members and your infant in a natural way.
