Sweet baby James came to the studio for his photo session at just a few days old- the perfect time to capture all those adorable newborn poses.

James' newborn session began with family portraits. His mother pre-booked her session before James was born, giving her time to fill out my questionnaire and select her background for family portraits as well as for James' individual sets.

Pre-booking her newborn session before her baby was born reserved her a spot in my calendar, allowing her to come in when her son was 14 days old. This is the perfect time for a newborn session, because your baby is still relaxed and flexible enough to curl into these adorable poses and props.


She chose neutrals, greens and blues for James' individual sets. Here's some of what I captured:

This tan color is one of my favorites, it's such a great neutral for baby girls and boys.
